Drivu doesn't collect the information unless it's necessary to serve the functionality required. For example, guests can view the menus and pages without registering for a username, email, car number and mobile number. This information will only be required when a guest wants to place an order, which is used to be able to best serve the customer.
Use of location:
Drivu requires access to location in order to display relevant information to the user. Drivu doesn't require the use of location when the app is in background, unless the customer wants to place an order. Using the location while the app is in the background is essential to serve the customer on time as he arrives to destination. Drivu doesn't use the location in the background after the order is actively closed.
Drivu does not sell the Personal Identifiable Information it collects to third parties. Drivu may disclose some or all of the collected PII to its staff, third parties and service providers to process the required service and for other purposes but not limited to: support, training and analysis. For example, Drivu may share the name, mobile number, car number and location to the shop the customer orders from to serve him on time. Drivu may share the collected PII to payment gateways to process credit card payments or other online payment transactions. Drivu may also share the PII to, but not limited to, third parties such as law enforcement authorities, attorneys, collection parties, in connection with valid violations of Drivu service or other violations.
Your credit/debit cards’ details are not stored on Drivu systems and they are not sold to any third parties. They are transmitted to reputable payment gateways in an encrypted format during the order processing phase.
Drivu takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies. However, drivu.co cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online. We are not responsible for the practices of any third parties or service providers.
Drivu is not responsible for the privacy policies of websites to which it links. If you provide any information to such third parties different rules regarding the collection and use of your personal information may apply.
